What states do you cover?

The entire United States and Canada. We are licensed in 38 states and have a network of counsel as well. Check out our coverage map here.

What types of claims do you handle?

We handle all types of insured and uninsured subrogation claims for insurers, third party administrators, and self-insured companies in all balance ranges, including auto, property, arbitration, government entity, fiduciary surety bond, maritime and admiralty, unpaid premium recovery, utility, and cyber claims.

How do you handle statuses?

RG has an online secure portal to check the status of claims, which is updated every 24 hours. In addition, we have a client relations team to assist with any additional questions.

How can I place claims?

We have a secure sharefiles site for you to send claims to subroservice@rathbonegroup.com without worrying about size or security – at zero cost. This site also automatically notifies you when we download a claim. Other methods can be found here.

What are your fees?

Rathbone Group’s attorneys’ fees are contingency, so you don’t pay unless we recover. However, the client is responsible for applicable court costs. We will consider other alternative fee arrangements as well.

What kind of volume can you handle?

RG is paid via contingency fees, but will consider other alternative fee arrangements. We are happy to accept one claim at a time, but we have also done special projects to take over portfolios with hundreds or even thousands of claims at a time.

What other ways do you support your clients?

RG has free educational resources through its blogs, podcasts and YouTube channel. We also have an online eNotary program to help our clients process affidavits and releases when a notary is not physically present or you work from home.

What payment forms do you accept?
  • Credit/Debit Cards:
    • To make an online credit/debit/prepaid card payment, select “Make a Payment’, “Payment Form”, then follow the intructions.
    • Credit/Debit payments are subject to a vendor processing fee, currently 3.875%.
    • We cannot accept card payments in the following states: MA, ME, KS, CO or CA.
  • Check by Phone or Check by Web:
    • Requires the use of a traditional checking account.
    • For check by web payments, follow the same payment process noted above.
    • For check by phone, call (855) 869-4036.
  • Money Order / Cashier’s Check:

How do I make one payment online?

On the Payment Form Screen, see the option for “Frequency”. Select “One-Time” payment and proceed with the payment process.

How can I get my driver’s license released?
  • Requirements vary by state.

Once payment is made, when does the driver’s license release process begin?
  • Processing can begin once the funds post to your account and clear.
  • The payment method (check, debit card, etc.) determines when the funds clear.
  • A Specialist can provide your state’s specific steps to Driver’s License release.
