Tara Ingram
Tara received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law and is admitted to practice law in Tennessee. Tara began her legal career as an associate attorney at an insurance defense firm in Nashville, Tennessee, where her primary focus was Workers’ Compensation defense. Tara also worked as an Assistant General Counsel for the State of Tennessee’s Second Injury Fund. Most recently, she has worked in private practice concentrating in the areas of contracts, real estate, and probate. Tara’s other legal experience involves having worked as a paralegal and teaching various legal courses as an adjunct instructor at a Community College. Prior to law school, Tara earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Auburn University at Montgomery.
Outside of the office, Tara and her family are involved in many civic organizations, and volunteer in various community outreach projects. She is also on the Board of Directors of the R.W. Reads Global Foundation – a foundation that was established in her father’s name. The Foundation distributes books to impoverished children all around the world, and has established libraries in South Africa and Jamaica. She enjoys, going to car shows, visiting museums, traveling, and cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide. She and her husband of 20 years have two daughters, a son and a precious cat.
