Matthew Ruppert
Matthew joined Rathbone Group in 2025 and is an Associate Attorney following admission to the Kentucky Bar. In this role, he assists at various stages of the litigation process for Kentucky subrogation cases. He is also a member of Rathbone Group’s property team, where he contributes to subrogation recovery efforts for large loss property claims, including cases involving building fires, vehicle fires, and large water losses.
Prior to joining Rathbone Group, Matthew graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2022 as a double major in political science and journalism. In 2025, Matthew graduated Cum Laude from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. While in law school, he was named to the Dean’s List, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi honor society, and competed in the school’s moot court competition.
Outside of the office, Matthew loves spending time with his wife, is an avid runner, and is a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs, Indiana Hoosiers, and Indianapolis Colts.
