Nathan J. Avrunin
Nathan J. Avrunin is an experienced Florida trial attorney who joined the firm in 2025. He handles claims for subrogation primarily in the South Florida Tri-County area, and throughout the state.
Nathan graduated cum laude, top 5% of class, from Nova Southeastern University Law School in Davie, Florida. His proudest achievements in Law School were serving as Articles Editor of Law Review, and receiving the Book Award for highest grade in Administrative Law. Nathan began his legal career serving 8 years as a Broward County Assistant State Attorney prosecuting more than 150 jury trials, including the most serious offenses, as well as supervising newer attorneys. He was then recruited to serve as in-house counsel for United Automobile Insurance Company. After leaving UAIC, he founded South Florida Trial Lawyers, A Private Law Firm and pursued thousands of lawsuits on behalf of people injured due to the fault of another and on behalf of medical providers who were not reimbursed or reimbursed improperly.
Nathan still faithfully follows the sports of his alma mater Syracuse University and keeps in touch with his Theta Chi brothers and members of the Syracuse University Sound of the Orange Marching Band. Nathan also maintains a bar license in Maryland where he grew up. Nathan enjoys free time with his wire-haired dachshunds and maintaining his freshwater aquariums.
